While we are all being extra queer on main for pride month…

PLEASE PLEASE

do not stop bringing awareness to the atrocities happening in Palestine, Sudan, the Congo, and so many more places.

Gen0cide does not pause for pride month 🇸🇩 🇨🇩 🇵🇸

ALSO, queer people exist in Palestine, Sudan, the Congo!!! And they are spending this month literally trying to escape gen0cide.

And no, I’m not saying it’s wrong to celebrate pride!

But celebration is NOT mutually exclusive from grieving and witnessing and protesting and fighting for those who cannot celebrate!

Ways you can help and spread awareness (and please rb or comment with more ways to help!)

Wear your keffiyeh to pride!

Attend a protest or rally or vigil after going to a pride parade!

Make content to bring awareness to your followers (if you have any platform with even just a small to moderate following, please PLEASE post about this. Do NOT stay silent! All you have to do is hit the repost or reblog button 🙏🏻)

Donate to an organization that provides aid, and/or donate to help Palestinian families through OOB (which is currently hiring so they can expand to families of Sudan and the Congo!) [link below]

Interact and engage with as much online content as you can! There are a lot of sounds and filters people are making on tiktok that donate proceeds - you can keep your account private and just make a video of a black screen with the filter or sound and it will still count!

Play these playlists on repeat [links below] as much as possible — all proceeds of these songs go toward supplying aid to the people of Palestine, Sudan, and the Congo

PS — if you can’t play music out loud 24/7, unfortunately muting the actual players will not “count” as a play for a song, thus no proceeds will be made. However you can lower the volume to right above mute, OR if you are on a desktop web browser version, I believe muting the tab (rather than the actual player) is okay (pls comment if you know otherwise lol)

PPS — I included a link for a playlist on Tidal, which requires a paid subscription just to listen. However, as of me posting this, they have a 30-day free trial. (I was able to get a 60-day trial for $2 but idk if that’s still happening)
